Car For Sale New

is there a car sale guru? what is best? to purchase a use $6000 car or to lease a New Car for to to 3 years?

i’ve seen some very good deals in leasing.
99$ a month with 1000 to 1500 down for leases.
I did the mat and find out that for 6000 i could get a new car for 3 years?

here is the million dollars question:

1) what is best? to buy Used Car or lease.?
2) what should i look out for when i lease a good deal like this?
3)any tips?

1) buy the used car. 6k these days should get you something decent (2005 ford :0 or 2001/02 honda)
2) they will get you on the back end. When you return the car, they will check the tires and no doubt make you pay for replacements. They will also check very carefully for any dents, dings, scratches, etc etc and make you pay more than they’re worth. With your own car, you won’t care.

They will also charge you through the nose for excess milage. Imagine giving back the car you don’t own and still owing $1200 for miles, new tires, and a scratch from a shopping cart. AND now you get to walk home too….

3) only lease if you can actually write off the cost of the car against business use. OR if you don’t care what it costs since you’re loaded. You’re not loaded since you asked this question – so leasing is not for you.
