How long should it take for my auto repair?
I was rear-ended in an accident and vehicle (2003 Volkswagon Passat) received about $6,000 in damages. The auto body shop has had my car now for five weeks. When my boyfriend went in to see them last week, they said there was a lot of damage and so it has been taking more time than they thought. I have left two messages this week to check in and have received no callback. I’ve already paid them in full through my insurance, which I was wary of doing up front but they said they need to get the parts with the payment. Are they just lagging because they already received their payment, or does it really take this long to repair damages like this? If so, that’s fine, but I want to make sure I’m not being taken advantage of.
sometimes it does take a while to get parts and rear end damage is the worst to fix and if its a really busy shop five weeks isnt that bad hope you got a rental
