I would like to purchacse the van at a buy here pay here lot. The area around Canton and Akron would be a great place to find the van I am looking for. I also like the high top vans better than the regular. A cd player and television hook up woulf also make for a better van. And of course the lower the final cost the better.
I just did a search for a Chevrolet Express Van at Carsala.com and wanted to share it with you.

Moondance $5.42 Van Morrison went a long way towards defining his wild Irish heart with his first two classic albums: the brooding, introspective Astral Weeks (1968), and the expansive, swinging Moondance. If the first was the work of a poet, its sequel was the statement of a musician and bandleader. Moondance is that rare rock album where the band has buffed the arrangements to perfection, and where the sax solo… |

Here is a rare compassionate search for understanding in lives dislocated by the immigrant experience. These are "songs in dialect" that Patriarca deciphers, voices not accustomed to being heard in any official culture. The reader will find in these accessible poems humour, irony, anger, despair, and reconciliation. Gianna Patriarca uses a pared-down language to reveal the fragility and intensity of the human heart. What critics wrote about Italian Women and Other Tragedies. |

My Mercedes Is Not for Sale: From Amsterdam to Ouagadougou…an Auto-Misadventure Across the Sahara $3.95 ""Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?" "–Janis Joplin A journalist’s intrepid endeavor to sell his used car abroad results in a high-spirited and revealing look at West Africa. ""Look, there’s my car," I say, pointing at my Mercedes in the parking lot. "Where?" a fellow desert traveler asks. "There, that Mercedes," I say. He looks at me, questioning. "You want to drive that through the Sahara?"" Jeroen van Bergeijk came up with what seemed like a great scheme for making a quick profit: buy a clunker of a car in his native Amsterdam and resell it in the Third World, where a market even for jalopies still thrives. His chariot of choice is a rusted-out 1988 Mercedes 190D with 220,000 kilometers on its odometer; his route will take him from Holland through Morocco, across the Sahara, and into some of the least trodden parts of Africa. "My Mercedes Is Not for Sale "is a rollicking tale of an innocent abroad. The author finds himself facing a driving challenge akin to the Dakar Rally but encounters obstacles never dreamed of by race-car drivers: active minefields, occasional banditry–mostly by the border guards–and a teenage, chain-smoking desert guide with a fondness for Tupac lyrics. Food and water are scarce, sandstorms are frequent, and all he has to patch up his many car breakdowns thousands of miles from civilization is a bar of soap, some duct tape, and a pair of women’s nylons. Then there’s the coup he survived. "My Mercedes Is Not for Sale" captures more than the adventure–it vividly portrays the impact of globalization on Africa through a surprise-filled journey into its thriving car culture, while asking the question: is the white man’s burden really a used car? |

A Used Friend for Sale by Devalle [Paperback] $31.14 Metaphorically, in some fashion we are all articles in a yard sale. We are those articles at some point in our lives when we are unappreciated, lost or simply forgotten. We are more than the baby doll that some little girl out grew. We are more than the baseball lost in an overgrown grassy field. It is our hope that on one sunny day, someone will pay the price to see us for who we really are. For now we are to enjoy the beautiful green lawns that we have the privilege to lie on. Enjoy the people as they rummage through the boxes as they decide if theres a place for us in their life. Enjoy the sun or the rain because we know, sooner rather than later, the right person will come and give us shelter or place us upon a mantle. Most importantly, enjoy the fact that we know being used is nothing more than an advantage over those things that are not. Author: Devalle Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 104 Publication Date: 2007/12/01 Language: English Dimensions: 9.00 x 6.00 x 0.25 inches |
